本研究は米国ロサンゼルスのSaint John's Cancer Institute (SJCI) に留学していた際に行っていた研究で、近年世界的に罹患率の増加が見られる若年性大腸癌の微小環境に着目したものになります。
貴重な留学の機会を提供してくださった竹内教授をはじめ、当講座の皆様、そして肝胆膵班の先生方に深く感謝申し上げます。また、SJCIで研究指導とサポートをしてくださったDr. Dave S.B. Hoonをはじめ、ラボのメンバーに対し心から御礼申し上げます。

During my studies at Saint John’s Cancer Institute (SJCI) in Los Angeles, USA, I engaged in research focusing on the microenvironment of early-onset colon cancer, a condition whose incidence is increasing globally. I would like to express my deepest thanks for the opportunity to study abroad, provided by Professor Takeuchi and the faculty of the HBP team at our department. I also feel a special sense of gratitude towards Dr. Dave S.B. Hoon and all the members of SJCI for their guidance and support throughout our research.
